At the edge of Victoria Falls, the Zambezi narrows over the rock before dropping into the gorge below. During the dry season, a naturally formed rock pool allows visitors to get remarkably close to the edge of the falls.
Known as Devil’s Pool, this experience takes place on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls and is accessed with a qualified local guide. When conditions allow, you can swim in the pool and look directly over the falls — an experience that’s difficult to describe until you’re there.
